STASZEK GAJEWSKI

• one of the best known captains in southern Poland
• incredibly experienced in offshore sailing; it’s hard to enumerate all the waters he sailed on and all the cruises he took part in first as a crewmember than as a skipper. An electrician by education, sailor by avocation.
• since year 2000 co-owner of the sailing yacht Nitron – before he used to take care of the repairs and preparation of various yachts for the season.
• also preoccupied with skitouring, diving and skiing. A traveller. Lives mostly in the mountains where he has a Beagle kennel
• a man who likes entertainment and knows how to play many instruments which we takes with him on the yacht
• he spends all his free time at sea. A specialist in traditional sailing

BARTEK GAJEWSKI

sails from a child; he was an eternal student – at one time geology, geotourism, and deposits exploitation, now MA Engineer of Geodesy
• has been organizing offshore cruises on his own for a couple of years (more than 60 cruises lasting between one and seven weeks)
• sailed to Iceland (2006), sailed around Biscay Bay (2007), considerable part of Mediterranean. At Baltic Sea he has been almost everywhere. He sailed 42000 Nm in total, 39500 Nm from which as a captain
• Sailor-traveller. Travelled through Europe hitching, went to Russia by train (Irkutsk, Petersburg, Moscow, Lake Baikal), he explored Mongolia (2002) and in 2007 he took part in a three-week scientific expedition to Iceland organized by the Silesian Technical University

JAKUB GAJEWSKI

• connected with sailing adventure since childhood. He started sailing in Masuria, where he still comes to sail; he knows every spot in there and is a huge fan of this region of Poland
• became a PYA Inland Skipper at the age of 12, nowadays a Yachtmaster Offshore
• a sociologist and a musician. Graduate of University of Wroclaw, currently studying at the Academy of Music. Plays the violin, guitar and any instrument available at the moment
• been on many cruises at European seas among others in Portugal, Spain, France, Norway, England and apart from Europe in Morocco and Egypt
• a traveller, used to work at a liner sailing at the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico, recent visitor to India and Nepal
• a diver holding a PADI Rescue Diver licence, dived many times at the Caribbean, Poland and Mediterranean

ADAM SULEWSKI

• a medicine graduate, sailing is his passion
• has vast experience and numerous sailing achievements for instance 2nd prize in the Cruise of The Year conquest and a “Colossus” for organizing a multi-stage expedition around Scandinavia
• on a boat he made it among others to Morocco and Iceland, he has a website where you one can read about his voyages
• young, vigorous, friendly and peaceful traveller, he has been for instance to India and USA and many other places
• one of his last achievements is the birth of his daughter in late 2007

KASIA TUPACZEWSKA

• studies Clinical Psychology at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities; most interested in psychology of sport
• in general sports are her passion – she used to train football, tennis, horse riding, she snowboards etc.; from a child she has been watching all matches and competitions possible; she works as a – surprise – sports journalist and is not disturbed by the fact that she has been suffering from diabetes mellitus type 1 for the last 22 years at all
• started sailing as a little girl; unlike her experienced colleagues from ZeglarskaPrzygoda.pl team she sails only inland (PYA Inland Skipper) and she is just a crewmember at sea
• holds a courier and resident licences (she recently worked in Greece), fluent in English (slightly poorer in German), loves discovering new countries. From the inside.
